First Principles 4.0 - Inside Stars

Well, we pulled our heads out of our slacker haze and managed to post a new podcast on the feed! It’s a First Principles® episode about stars.

Thank you for a fascinating programme. I have only recently discovered Slacker Astronomy and am very glad I have. With apologies in advance for a negative note but I offer this comment hoping to be helpful not destructive. As interesting as the content of this podcast was it was just about spoilt for me by the constant inane laughter. Please, please do try to avoid this. Perhaps I am just a grumpy old man, but I almost turned off my mp3 player because I could not stand one more laugh. Otherwise, great job.

That was a great show! I like the laughter - having had many discussions with Doug, that is all part of it. Hmmmm…may need to play some of this to my introductory astronomy class, and put up some strange light show while it is running….
