Doug and I had the pleasure of doing an interview with Dr. Evalyn Gates, Assistant Director of the Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics. She studies white dwarfs (dwarves?), dark matter, cosmic strings, black holes and she recently wrote a book on gravitational lensing, Einstein’s Telescope: The Hunt for Dark Matter and Dark Energy in the Universe.
