SA Extra: Fraknoi on Einstein

By Slacker on October 11, 2005 at 11:15 pm | In Blog Posts | No Comments

This year marks 100 years after Albert Einstein’s revolutionary triumvirate of science changing papers. To mark the occasion, scientists from around the world are joining together to celebrate the Year of Physics, and some are giving great lectures on Einstein’s work. Dr. Andy Fraknoi is one of the great lecturers, and we are grateful that he was willing to spend some time talking to us about Einstein.

If you want to hear Dr. Fraknoi face to face he will be giving a talk with Dr. Alan Friedman at the New York City Library on Oct 22. Click here to find out more about the talk and to learn how to register to attend.

Note: This was originally posted as 2 parts, but a friend showed us how to get around the Garageband 30 minute limit so we reposted a single MP3 on 051007.

The first 15 minutes of the show are a walkaround of the observing field. It is followed by my talk which ran about 45 minutes. I’m distorted in the beginning but the sound gets better quickly. I recorded a summary and outtro but the dangummit 30 minute limit of GB prevented me from adding it.
