Just what we can see with the Mark I Eyeball. At one end is red with the lowest frequency. At the other end is violet. Everything else you can't see and is therefore invisible. Visible light can be redshifted to an extent that you can't see it anymore, but it is still there. Just like that invisible snark that is currently sneaking up behind you....
