Matt is a perl programmer and Unix system administrator, originally from a place called Milton Keynes in the United Kingdom. Milton Keynes is most famous for its concrete cows and to a lesser extent red balloons.
In 2002, Matt moved to Perth, Western Australia where the seeing is much, much better (except when he has time to get his telescopes out).
Matt, not content with a Bachelor of Science degree (with Honours) in Computer Science, is currently working his way through a Master of Science in Astronomy degree with Swinburne Astronomy Online (SAO). The SAO is one of the places that Aaron Price learnt to be a Slacker, Pamela Gay also teaches there, and Matt hopes to one day reach the same heights of Slackerdom.
Matt is also a sysop of Slackerpedia Galactica and is open to bribery.
