Ultraviolet (UV) light is electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength shorter than that of visible light, but longer than soft X-rays. Ultraviolet cannot be be seen by the Human eye. The ultraviolet radiation is suprisingly at the violet end of the electromagnetic spectrum.
