Twin Planemos
From Slackerpedia Galactica
Twin Planemos are two exoplanets orbiting each other in space with no parent star. Ray Jayawardhana of the University of Toronto (Canada) and Valentin D. Ivanov of ESO report the discovery in the August 3 issue of Science Express, the rapid online publication service of the journal Science.
The discovery questions the formation of planets. These planets are far apart and they are weakly bound together by gravity.
- The Twin Planemos has offically been called "Romulus and Remus" by the Slacker Union, (The biggest being "Romulus")
