Trans-Neptunian Objects

Trans-Neptunian Objects (TNO's) reside outside the orbit of the planet Neptune. There are probably millions of these tiny icy and rocky bodies out there, and several thousand have been discovered so far.
Many of them only have numbers, but some have names. The most famous of them is Pluto, which used to be (and might someday be again) a planet.
Some types of TNO's are Kuiper Belt Objects (KBO's) (objects 30 - 50 AU's from the sun), Scattered Disc Objects (SDO's) (+50 AU's) and Oort Cloud objects.
