Star

A star is a slightly less insignificant cosmic building block than a planet, but a much more insignificant one than a galaxy.

They generally start out as a mixture of hydrogen and helium, and stuff, with stuff being a mixture of carbon, silicon, estrogen, tapioca, and other strange materials. They generally wind up as a mixture of stuff, having either thermonucu... throwmonuc... burned their supplies of hydrogen and helium to make light, or blown it off into space to get the attention of the Hubble Heritage Project. They occasionally explode rather spectacularly, or wobble around a little but mostly they just sit there. Except when they don't.

They're very hot in general, and are not safe or convenient places to land, or even visit. Not even at night.
