Sagitta (Sag) is a tiny constellation that looks like a dart. (It could be an arrow, but it's so small that it gives arrows a bad name.) It is near the celestial equator thus is easily seen by most areas on Earth in the latter half of the year. It is home to a very bright globular cluster, M71, which is easily seen in binoculars.

In western mythology, Sagitta is the arrow shot by Hercules at two birds, Aquila and Cygnus.
