A constellation that may represent the liquid waste from a young dog. So named for its relatively close proximity to the likely source, Canis Minor.
In other circles, this group of stars represents the aft part of the great ship Argo Navis (the ship upon which Jason and the Argonauts sailed). Either way, it is related to the back end of something.
