Io

Io is one of the Galilean moons of Jupiter. It's a mouldy looking gold moon that was discovered by Galileo. The moon's surface is very young due to the amount of volcanic activity on the large moon. The moon was captured in the act, being a volcanic eruption was captured by Voyager 1 in 1979. Io is a fairly easy moon to remember because it only two letters in the name. This is the real cheese moon.

It is though to work similar to the I/O system (Input/Output)... so far there is only outputs of matter.

Io was made famous in the Walt Disney film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves", being commemorated in a song bearing its title and featuring a lot of whistling ahead of a day in the diamond mine.
