A supposed project of the Space Telescope Science Institute in which "real images" are rendered artistically for the enjoyment of the general public. It has been widely speculated that the Hubble Space Telescope is, in fact, a hoax, and that all images in the Hubble Heritage archives were in fact rendered by the late Bob Ross of The Joy of Painting fame, then refined in Photoshop.
