A number quantifying the rate of expansion of the universe. The current (2006) value of this constant is close to 75 km/s/Mpc.

All objects farther away than 0.0003 Mpc are exceeding 90 km/hour, and are subject to a traffic fine.

Prior to 1986, the adopted value of the Hubble Constant was "two years to launch".
