Don O. Cook

Don O. Cook was born in Arlington, TX and hasn't gone too far since. While new to Slacker Astronomy's extended family, he's no stranger to slacking (and a casual acquaintance with astronomy). Despite said slacking, he's managed to hold down a job in the insurance business for the last five years. It only took five minutes, however, for him to grow contemptuous of the big corporate machine which is more like a reality television show than a business. To that end, he hopes to find a career in a creative field before he too is evicted from the Big Brother Office like so many of his friends before him.

Don doesn't consider himself an artist and is quite pleased when his people actually look like people.

He hates cars, trains, crowds, phones and most people. Which goes a long way to explaining why he's single and lives alone with two feline room-mates.
