Dark Side of the Moon is a great album with a cool cover by the rock band Pink Floyd in which they note that there is no dark side of the moon. As a matter of fact, it's all dark is suggested from the low reflectivity of the surface - much like asphault. However, belief that the moon has a continual dark side is, like in the case of Darth Vader, totally mistaken.
Not to be confused with the far side of the Moon which does exist.
