Color or ('Colour' we like to write it in the UK) is a form of light, perceived by us through the visible part of the spectrum (Red to Violet). In Astronomy though there are more colours, from different forms of light (electromagnetic radiation).

Infrared is so red you can't see it, but you feel it as heat.

Ultraviolet is too blue tou can't see it, but sunbathe and you know it's there!

Light with more blue than ultraviolet, which has a smaller wavelength, are clumped into a catergory called 'Gamma Radiation'.
