Christiaan Huygens

Christiaan Huygens (1629-1695) discoved Saturn's moon Titan and lots of other stuff too. The ESA probe named after him hitched a ride on the back of NASA's Cassini probe and separated from the craft on Christmas Day 2004 and plunged down into Titan and landed on January 14 2005.
