Brown Dwarf

A Brown Dwarf star is a star with much lower mass than the Sun. They aren't brown. They have insufficient mass to have ever fused hydrogen. That have more mass than Jupiter. Which makes them really big for planets - not a dwarf after all. Some times they are called "failed stars" (because they didn't study for the test).
